Steve F. Hallsey

Steve joins Crown Advisors as a Senior Advisor, bringing nearly 40 years of leadership experience and deep industry relationships to support our business development efforts. He is a partner at Sundance Barn Ranch in Oakley, Utah, where he advises, mentors, and consults for real estate organizations and serves on several industry and non-profit boards.
Previously, Steve spent six years as Managing Director at Wood Partners and 14 years as President and CEO of AMLI Residential. He also held senior leadership roles as President of Charles E. Smith and President of Western National Group. A long-time NMHC board member, Steve is a frequent speaker, panelist, and contributor to national industry publications.
A graduate of the University of Utah, Steve is also the author of four books. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, mountain climbing, writing, wood carving, sculpting, painting, and barbecuing on his Big Green Egg.
